Real Good Food

Not every meal is made from scratch. Many families have just a few minutes to pull a meal together before heading out for evening practices and lessons, or when someone comes home late and is famished. There are a few recipes that can be made in less than 30 minutes; and some are designed to be eaten on the go – like when the whole family is on the soccer field watching a practice or weekday game.

Today, families are a blend, which includes mealtimes and schedules, caregivers, patients, allergies, etc. Being a mom of an autistic child with Fragile X Syndrome, I can personally attest to the challenges and sensitivities one can face when trying to make nutritional meals for someone with temperature, texture and bite-size sensitivities.

The Cookbook

Food plays a big part in what we eat and who we are. It’s not just about the recipes, it’s about the stories too. In my upcoming book, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to realize that the foods we put on our plates are pretty similar, no matter where you live in our world.
